홍대 Designer Application

RULES

I. Compliance to the theme of the event should be strictly followed. 홍대 Hongdae Event has a Pinterest inspiration board that we update continuously. We would like for each and every designer to follow the theme of the event. We are more than just KPop/Kawaii event.

II. We require only the best and high quality items for the event. We understand the minimalism touch of some creations however, we will not accept anything rushed, incomplete and too simple creations.

III. Please be mindful of textures or images that you may use as we do not accept copyright material.

IV. Please stick to your chosen category when you signed up for the round.

V. We do support minor explicit content and/or ads. Keep your creations as moderate as possible and within the theme including sponsors’ non-exclusive items. We understand creative nudity is profitable however, please do not show any adult (NSFW) positions.

VI. Blogger room items will only be accessible for the event bloggers and creators who will be putting their items in the blogger room too starting March 26th, 2022.

VII. We will be returning your booth setup if we see that the rules are not followed. We want to make Hongdae Event the best for everyone.

GENERAL RULES

홍대 HONGDAE is a 100% Original creations event. A (1) new and exclusive original item must be released and cannot be sold anywhere else during the event. Recolors and retextures of old items are not permitted.

•The management reserve the right to control the participants per round. We will only accept a balanced number of participants per category to make sure that everyone will get fair exposure and sales.

•Once you have joined in the group and do not attend any rounds in 3 months, we have the right to remove you from the group. But you can reapply after 3 months of being removed. If you have vacation or a break, please let us know, so we do not mistake this as a removal of you not participating.

•You need to have 1 group space for the Designers and Bloggers Group to be able to rezz at your booth.

•You need to rezz the 홍대 Hongdae Event Subscriber in your store. 

•Blogger items should be provided to better promote you and the event widely by the event bloggers/vloggers.

•Please follow the event timeline. If you cannot meet the setup deadline, please let us know at least 3 days before the deadline. If you wish to extend setting up, you may, however, media partners coverage inclusion is not a guarantee.

•All original mesh creations are allowed. We prioritize mesh creations, however, other creations are allowed too but limited. We strictly don’t allow stand-alone shape stores. Shapes can be sold with other products like skins and cosmetics only.

•Items should follow the Second Life ToS
We do not allow contents downloaded from CGtrader, Turbosquid, Artstation, Sketchfab or the like. Meshes/templates bought full perm from Marketplace or other websites are not permitted. We reserve the right to revoke your participation to the event if necessary. 

•Old Gacha system is not permitted. 

•Sponsors are by invite only.* No prioritization.

• Collabs are for designers to partner up with other designers within the group only.

•Event fees are no refund and non negotiable

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

═ADS TEXTURE═

•Please make sure your AD follows the guidelines of the event: No adult body parts should show and should follow the theme of the event.

═BOOTHS═

Regular Booths = 50 prims | Sponsor Booths = 100 prims. 
•Regular Collab Booths = 100 prims | Sponsor Collab Booths = 150 prims

•Regular booth designers are ONLY allowed to  one (1) exclusive rezzed in their booth. No previous releases shall be permitted. Sponsor booth designers can put more than one (1) product as long as it follows the 100 prim allowance. 

•Collab booth designers are allowed to have (2) exclusive rezzed in their booth can put more than one (1) product as long as it follows the 100/150 prim allowance. 

•We placed a booth cover. You may purchase it for L$0 then take it to your inventory/delete to start setting up. 

•Change your booth logo by dragging and dropping your texture logo on it.

•Designers will be allowed to reserve a booth every start of the setup day. However, we will be returning incomplete setup and close a booth an hour before the opening day. 

TIMELINE

  • 1st to 10th of the month | 1PM SLT ———————————- Reservation & Payment for a round

  • 26th | 12AM SLT to 26th | 12:00PM SLT —————————— Setup Extension (1500L Fee)
